The Aurora Kakadu caravan and campground offers more than 100 camping sites in a beautiful tropical setting. The resort boasts 32 powered sites along with laundry and bathroom facilities. Set in Kakadu’s South Alligator region, this is a great base to explore the park’s magnificent escarpments, breathtaking waterfalls and gorges, and abundant wetlands. If you’re lucky you may even share this campground with wallabies, corellas, magpie geese and other Kakadu wildlife.

How far is Red Lily Billabong, Bucket Billabong and Alligator Billabong from Aurora Kakadu Resort
Two kilometres from Aurora Kakadu Resort there’s a turnoff that takes you down an 18 km track through savanna woodlands to three billabongs. The first is Red Lily Billabong . Bucket Billabong is a further 2 km down the track, closely followed by Alligator Billabong . You won’t find facilities or defined camping areas so just pick a shady spot near one of the fireplaces to set up camp.
